May we ask for your co-operation and patience over the next few weeks as we face an unexpected shortage of doctors.
Two of our GPs are now on sick leave, probably until the end of the summer, and we have still been unable to replace our clinical assistant who left in December. Coupled with the planned holidays of the remaining GPs, it means there will be fewer appointments available. We are employing locum doctors when possible, although this is not easy to arrange at short notice.
Please think twice before asking for an appointment – could a pharmacist help, could one of our nurses help, would a phone call suffice?
We will always see urgent problems and we will aim to maintain as comprehensive a service as possible - but we will need your co-operation – thank you.
